A lot of preparations go into a successful wedding ceremony. Among these preparations are practical matters that must be considered. e.g, date of wedding, venue, invitation cards, the number of people to be invited and the type of wedding ceremony desired.

Sometimes it's possible that the couple's ideas do not fit with those of the parents. This could sometimes cause disagreements. Due to the present economic situation in the country, most couples go for very quiet wedding ceremonies. Some also get married on weekdays, while some do their whites and traditionals on the same day or with a day interval.

The success of the wedding depends on the amount of preparation and planning that go into it. You might be lucky to have friends and relations who will rally around to help you, this way some things that the couple do not necessarily have to do themselves will be delegated to friends and relations.

It is not wise to go into debt simply because you want to get married, neither should your parents dictate how much you should spend. But if a couple wants a big wedding and they have the means to do it then they can go all the way after all it is a once in life time experience.
Months before the wedding, it is good for couples to discuss their plans.
